For example, if some branches are a little bit unmotivated hanging in the tree, you will just take that off and clip it from the back. Think of it as cutting it from underneath and nobody will ever see that you have taken anything off the tree itself.
When you are done, take another step back. Have a look at it, See if you wanna make any small adjustments, but I think most important is have fun with it, make it a family event.
